The last three weeks have flown by. We've brushed some goats at the zoo ...
... taken walks with Babushka ...
... played by a lake ...
... learned to arrange flowers ...
... played dollhouse with our cousin ...
... and bought lots and lots and lots of fabric ...
It would have been better, had I brought my sewing machine with me. I'd be spending this time sewing instead of shopping ... (also, not pictured is the walk-in closet full of a two-year supply of things like tamari sauce, red lentils, laundry detergent and toilet paper).

love the fabric! Where are you going to next?
ReplyDeleteThanks, A. We are headed to Tbilisi, Georgia.
ReplyDeletedo you know if there are any crafty types in Moscow? We arrive in 3 weeks and I feel like I need to find some fellow knitters or sewists....
ReplyDeleteEnjoy home leave - we are trying to enjoy ours but I have yet to do any stash shopping....
Yep, A, there are. Try Sarah at verdantvoyages.blogspot.com. She is a good and crafty friend who is still there. There was a weekly craft night on compound - if it's still on, she can connect you. Better shop now - there is fabric to be had in Moscow but much of it is very expensive, and certainly not as accessible as it is here. Enjoy Moscow. I miss it!
