Home Sweet Home

Well, Afghanistan was a great place for a honeymoon, but it turns out that we are coming home. We are fine, but have been mandated by State Department MED to leave Afghanistan, and we will be on a plane out of here on the 17th. We're going back to D.C. temporarily, and then who knows. We are a bit bummed to have to leave Kabul so soon, but are looking forward to the comforts of home (Japanese food, Starbucks, fresh fish, movie theaters, and watching football at a reasonable hour). Life is full of surprises.
